An Amazing Read.

I ran across this fantastic editorial in USA Today. It's a remarkable look at the interface between American and Islamic culture. Be sure to read it.

That was a very good article.

But you know what Vavoom, I've learned more just from listening and talking to you (and my neighbors) than I could learned from an article that someone I don't know wrote.

I am glad that you're revisiting this though, especially with things heating up again (as if the media and politicians didn't have enough to bitch about...)

Yup, very interesting. I was watching Oprah the other day (give me a break - I'm stuck at home sick!) and she had a guest who was a white Christian man from West Virginia who spent a month living as a Muslim in Dearborn, MI. He lived with a Muslim family, followed their traditions, etc. It was very interesting to watch.

Apparently they did a documentary on FX called Thirty Days, but I can't seem to find it on my TiVo. Thought you might find it interesting though.

That was a great article. As you know I can relate. I love seeing how people with different religions can learn to adopt and embrace others.
