Why Lima Beans Suffer.

Why does succotash suffer?

Answer.

As someone that's constantly using profanity, I'm trying to find replacement words that won't make me sound like Mary Poppins. What are your favorite "gosh darn it" euphemisms?

"Rats!"

I worked with a physician many years ago, a cardiologist, a good doc and nice guy. No matter how dire the CPR situation, if things weren't going well he'd simply exclaim, "Rats!" and nothing more.

It still cracks me up for some odd reason.

"Pooh on you" is a personal favorite. It is kind of a "Go fuck yourself" type comment when you can't say that, and well it kind of difuses most situations because people don't expect to hear "Pooh".

I've started to use "freakin" and "shoot" because Madison is now talking. I do like "rats!" so I may steal that, it has a nice harshness to it, gets the point across!

In my opinion, words are only a way of expressing yourself. If you have the emotions, you may as well use the words instead of trying to mask it behind some childish gibber.

If you feel it, then by all means, say it. If it doesn't seem right, then maybe you should reconsider the way you feel.

What are you going to do when people say words like "dagnabbit" and "shoot" are unacceptable? Will you comply, or will you stand up for your freedom of speech?

I actually like 'bugger'. I don't care what anyone says, it's a cool word and so much fun to say!

Crikey. but i curse as much as possible. I'll drop an f-bomb at anytime, and will use various words to describe the personalities of people i know.

So I am on a quest to see why Succotash suffers. I see you seem to be on the same quest. my only deduction is that is smells bad. self loathing.
