Devolving Arguments.
Don't believe in evolution? Would you like to show everyone how magnificent God and creationism is? Hmmm, what to do... How about beating the living crap out of a university professor? Yeah, that's showin' them!

I think when sitiuations such as this (the living crap beating that is) happens... it just... well...
doesn't the barbarity (is that a word?) of it all prove the point that we evolved from animals? I would think that as the crap beater was doing the beating a light would go on in his head flashing... "HELLO... if ever a person evolved from a wild animal it is YOU!!!"

Unbelievable. Yeah, the professor was probably out-of-line with the email, but in the end, the course was cancelled. You'd think that would be enough for those folks.
But, nooooo....
Actually, several of the guys that I work with have this debate daily (now with a new shift, I don't have to deal with it as much.) I sit on the periphery when it comes to the age of the earth and the origin of the species. I like to believe that creation was a molding, evolving process.
Btw, great link. I'm going to have to check back on it here and there to see what they add.

Ahhh yes, beating someone up just because you disagree with them sounds like a human thing - perhaps the creation story has some merit afterall because you'd think after years of evolution humans would be much smarter than they are now.
